Thank you everyone.  There is so much joy in the spirit of giving.  We have been photographing all of you who allowed us and you have been signing our poster card to her.  We are putting into production our YouTube video to share with all of you our company story of  “Collaboration”.

We started with different stories of those in need and everyone in the company voted unanimoulsy to help this woman who drives those less fortunate than herself to their doctor appointments.  Senior citizens she said, as well as those who are disabled.  Her car was totaled in an accident and she has no means to get another one. 

This is our wish to help her and it is coming true.  Isn’t that fascinating to know if you put your mind to something, you work hard, put your heart and soul into your vision, you can achieve your goal. It has been with your help  that we here at San Clemente Soaps will be succesful.

It is never too late to help our fundraising event.  We are still putting 100% of our profits towards getting the finest car we can, paying registration for one year and her car insurance for one year.

We are driving dreams for our 72 year old recipient and are getting closer to our goal of purchasing her a car.  What  a magical surprise she will have the first of the year.  She has NO idea we are doing this for her. This will be so exciting for our company, San Clemente Soaps to help someones dream come true.

We had a fabulous turn out these past four days in the San Clemente area and we are at 50% of our fundraising goal.  What generosity abounds.  Those who left bought elegant gifts which are good for your skin too.  Our designer team got real creative by making gift plates, boxed sets, teen bags, toddler gifts; all kinds of wonderful handmade all natural bath and body products gift sets.

 This year our goal is to raise enough money to buy a 72 year old woman who drives “Senior Citizens” and those less fortunate than her to their doctor appointments.  She no longer has a working car.  We want to buy her a car, pay insurance for one year, and the car registration for one year.

Valentine’s Day is rooted in pagan partying.  The lover’s holiday traces it roots to Roman Festivals where men stripped naked, grabbed whips and spanked young maidens in hopes of increasing their fertility.

The annual pagan celebration, called Lupercalia, was held every year on February 15 and remained wildly popular well into the fifth century A.D.—at least 150 years after Constantine made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire.

The church pegged the festival to the legend of St. Valentine.

According to the story, in the third century A.D. Roman Emperor Claudius II, seeking to bolster his army, forbade young men to marry. Valentine, it is said, flouted the ban, performing marriages in secret.

For his defiance, Valentine was executed in A.D. 270—on February 14, the story goes.
